THE SAMSKARA STORY
Where Coffee Becomes a Ritual
It began the way many meaningful journeys do — over a simple cup of coffee.
In a coffee shop tucked away from the noise of everyday life, two friends found themselves in a familiar rhythm: deep in conversation, coffee in hand, ideas flowing as they always did.
Shashikiran, with a mind sharpened by years in IT.
Om Karthik, a creative soul, fueled by design and storytelling.
They had often talked about doing something together. But on this day, the conversation took a turn.
Joining them was their close friend Kavin, back in Bengaluru after spending time at his family’s estate in the misty hills of Sakleshpur. A seasoned coffee planter from Kumbardi Estate, Kavin knew coffee — not just as a crop, but as a way of life. The soil, the weather, the beans — he understood it all like second nature.
As the three friends sipped and spoke, their conversation wandered — from life, to creativity, to coffee. Then came a question from Kavin that lingered in the air:
“You have the tools — the creativity, the strategy — and I have the beans. Why don't you guys build something?”
That single question planted the seed. And just like that, over a shared moment and a shared cup, Samskara took root.
But Samskara isn’t just a coffee brand. It’s a ritual — a coming together of purpose, passion, and craft.
Kavin, as a trusted planter, opened the door to a world rooted in soil and patience.
Shashikiran and Om Karthik brought it to life — combining strategy, storytelling, and design with one goal:
To create coffee that means something.
Coffee that’s honest. Coffee that feels personal.
Coffee with soul, crafted with intention.
Each bag of Samskara carries a story — of land, of people, of process.
From the hills of Sakleshpur to your hands, every step is thoughtful. Every decision, deliberate.
Because Samskara isn’t just what you drink.
It’s what you feel. A ritual in every cup.
