Refund Policy

Because coffee is a fresh, consumable product, we handle returns thoughtfully — balancing food safety, fairness, and customer trust.
Please review the category-wise policy below.
A. Coffee Beans & Consumables
Our coffee is roasted fresh and meant to be consumed quickly.

Coffee packs are not eligible for return if opened or used.

A replacement or refund is offered only if:

The product is damaged, defective, past its best-before date, or
-
You received the wrong item or quantity.

Report such issues within 48 hours of delivery by emailing samskaracoffeeco@gmail.com with:

Order ID,
-
Photos/videos clearly showing the issue, and
-
The shipping label on the parcel.

Once verified, we’ll offer a replacement or refund as per your preference.
B. Brewing Equipment & Merchandise
These items are eligible for return or exchange within 7 days of delivery if:

They are unused, in original packaging, with all accessories, manuals, and tags intact.

Items returned used, washed, or damaged will be rejected or may attract a restocking fee of 10% (deducted from the refund).
To initiate, contact samskaracoffeeco@gmail.com with your Order ID and photos of the item.
C. Coffee Subscriptions

You may pause, modify, or cancel your subscription anytime before the next billing or roast date via your account dashboard or by contacting support.

Prorated refunds are issued for unshipped cycles where payment has already been captured.

Once a cycle has been roasted, packed, or shipped, that cycle cannot be cancelled or refunded.
D. Refund Method & Timelines

Refunds are issued to your original payment method (Razorpay/PayU/UPI/Card) or as store credit — whichever you prefer.

Once approved, refunds are processed within 5–7 business days.

Bank or gateway processing times may vary by 1–3 business days.

For Cash on Delivery (COD) orders, refunds will be issued via bank transfer or UPI after collecting your details securely.
E. Return Shipping

For approved returns or replacements, we arrange a reverse pickup wherever our courier partners offer the service.

If your pincode is non-serviceable for pickups, please self-ship using a trackable courier method.

We’ll reimburse reasonable return courier charges up to ₹150 (against a valid receipt).
Shipping costs are otherwise non-refundable, unless the issue was due to our error.
F. Order Cancellations

Orders can be cancelled before dispatch or within 24 hours of placement (whichever is earlier).

To cancel, email samskaracoffeeco@gmail.com with the subject line:
“Cancel Order #[your order number]”

Once the order has been roasted, packed, or shipped, it cannot be cancelled.

If the order is refused at delivery or returned undelivered due to incorrect address, refunds (if applicable) will be issued after deducting two-way shipping charges.
G. Exceptions (Non-Returnable Items)
The following items are not eligible for return or refund:

Opened or used coffee bags

Gift cards or discount vouchers

Personalized or custom gift boxes

Final sale or clearance items

Bulk/wholesale orders
H. How to Raise a Return or Refund Request
To raise a request:

Photos/videos showing the concern and the shipping label
2️⃣ We’ll acknowledge within 48 hours and aim to resolve within 7 business days.
3️⃣ Once approved, we’ll initiate the replacement, refund, or store credit.
Note:
Samskara Coffee reserves the right to verify all claims and approve returns or refunds at its discretion.
Minor variations in roast color, flavor, or aroma may occur due to natural batch variation — these do not qualify as defects.
