Welcome to Samskara Coffee (“Samskara”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). By accessing or using our website, mobile applications, and services (collectively, the “Site”), or by placing an order, you agree to these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). Please read them carefully. If you do not agree with these Terms, do not use the Site or place an order.

2. Eligibility & account

• By using the Site you confirm you are at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding contract.

• You agree to provide accurate, complete and up-to-date information.

• If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.

3. Orders, acceptance & confirmation

• All orders are subject to acceptance by Samskara Coffee. We may refuse or cancel any order at our discretion (e.g., stock shortages, pricing errors, suspected fraudulent activity).

• Receipt of an order confirmation email does not guarantee acceptance of the order. Acceptance occurs when we dispatch the product.

• Product images and descriptions are for illustrative purposes; minor variations in appearance, color, or packaging may occur.

4. Prices, taxes & payment

• Prices displayed on the Site are in Indian Rupees (INR) and exclude applicable taxes and shipping charges unless stated otherwise.

• We accept payments via secure third-party gateways (e.g., Razorpay, PayU, UPI). We do not store your full card or UPI credentials.

• In case of an obvious pricing error, we reserve the right to cancel the order and notify you.

5. Shipping & delivery

• Shipping and delivery are governed by our Shipping Policy. Delivery timelines are indicative and may vary due to courier performance, weather, strikes, or other events beyond our control.

• Risk of loss and title for products pass to you upon delivery to the address you provided.

6. Returns, refunds & cancellations

• Returns and refunds are governed by our Returns, Replacements & Refunds Policy.

• Opened or used coffee packs are not returnable for food-safety reasons. Refund timelines vary by payment provider; we process refunds once a return is authorized.

7. Subscriptions

• Subscription services (if any) are billed according to the plan selected. You can pause, modify, or cancel your subscription before the next billing/roast date via your account or by contacting support.

• Payments already captured for a dispatched cycle are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in our Returns Policy.

8. Intellectual property

• All content on the Site — including trademarks, logos, product images, designs, text, and packaging — is the property of Samskara Coffee or its licensors.

• You may not copy, reproduce, modify, publish, transmit, distribute, or commercially exploit any content from the Site without our prior written consent.

9. User conduct
You agree not to:

• Use the Site for any unlawful purpose;

• Post or transmit anything offensive, defamatory, or infringing;

• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site or other users’ accounts;

• Interfere with the operation of the Site or its security.

10. Limitation of liability

• To the fullest extent permitted by law, Samskara Coffee’s total liability to you for any claim arising out of your use of the Site or purchase of products will not exceed the amount paid by you for the particular order giving rise to such liability.

• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages (including loss of profits, loss of data, or loss of goodwill).

11. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Samskara Coffee and its officers, directors, employees, agents and partners from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms or your use of the Site.
12. Force majeure
We are not liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, pandemics, governmental actions, or courier disruptions.
13. Third-party links & services
The Site may include links to third-party websites, products, or services. We are not responsible for the content or practices of those third parties. Use them at your own risk and review their terms and privacy policies.
14. Modifications to these Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time by posting the updated Terms on the Site with a revised “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
15. Severability & waiver
If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, it will be severed and the remaining provisions will continue in full force. Failure to enforce any right is not a waiver of that right.
16. Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka.
